To those who long to be mothers.
To those who have lost mothers.
To those who have lost a child.
To those who are step mothers.
To those who have adopted.
To those who have fostered children.
To those who didn't have a mother.
And to those who are motherly figures.

I didn't set out to be a single mom. I set out to be the best mom I can be. And that hasn't changed.

I am blessed to have been chosen to be the mother of my two little Twinkles, who bring me joy and purpose every single day.

I grieve the children that I was not blessed to bring into this world and the opportunity to birth another babe.

I am blessed to have a mom who has always encouraged me and been a constant support in everything I do.

I miss my grandma who had an abundance of strength and positivity, as well as, incredible wit.

This day is a complicated one, full of emotions.

Hair color and style matter!

I went a bit darker for fall and I know that I need rich, warm tones. I also know that my cut shouldn't be too short and layers are key and will allow for movement.

NATIONAL 💄LIPSTICK💄 DAY (last Saturday)

I never used to be able to wear lipstick! Or at least that's what I used to think. Now that I know what shades compliment ME best, lip color is my secret weapon!

One of the greatest mysteries solved for me during color analysis was what lip colors I should wear. I was clueless and thought lipstick wasn't for me because it wasn't quite right.

Well, it wasn't lipstick that was the problem, just the color! I needed to be shown that cool reds and berry tones were not complimentary for my skin. I need orangey reds and coral. What?!

Anyone else blown away by finding their perfect lipstick💄? Game changer, right?
