I am a freelance web and graphic designer that has been involved with various aspects of the Web for the past 23 years. I have a wide range of creative and technical skills to assist businesses with eye-catching designs as well as highly-effective marketing programs using the web, email, blogs, social networks and other media. All my sites are clean, effective, optimized and easy for clients to up
date themselves. I work with clients and agencies around the world to help design and develop custom solutions to fit their web design needs. For the past 13 years I was based on the “Beautiful by Nature” islands of Turks and Caicos. During my time there, I was creative director at Wired Island and was responsible for all e-marketing and Web design projects, creating award-winning and optimized web sites for more than 75 clients in various tourism, hospitality, real estate, retail and government sectors. Prior to joining Wired Island, I was a project manager at AppNet, a single-source e-business solutions firm in Washington, D.C. where I worked for several nonprofit international organizations including; CARE, International Committee of the Red Cross, Pew Center for Climate Control, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I also developed corporate Web sites for DNA New Media Group, an interactive ad agency based in San Francisco. I worked for a non-profit multimedia events company known as the Interactive Media Festival, a three-day interactive art gallery and competition that was held in Los Angeles during the summers of 1994 and 1995. I hold a BA in Art, with an emphasis in Multimedia Studies, from San Francisco State University.
