Think about it… you show up for a business meeting wearing a really put together, professional yet representative of who you are outfit vs showing up in sweats and a shirt with a hole in it.

Though there are more factors at play when it comes to creating a strong brand identity, here are a few of the key elements that are absolutely essential.

Branding really comes down to curating an identity and a presence in your ideal audiences life that is impactful, authoritative and relatable.

Its not JUST about the designs. The designs come into play once there has been a solid understanding of WHO exactly your brand is and how its going to approach the world.

Over the past few weeks Ive been putting most of my energy for work into getting our new website designed and launched. 👼🏽

Honestly every time I start a new project I am astonished with how much I’ve grown as a designer in the past year. Looking back at my work when I was really just starting out is incredible. I really had no idea what I was doing but was gonna do it anyways lol🤷🏽‍♀️

This website has been SO much fun and I really cannot wait to launch it! Its been a big learning curve as I am moving away from Wix and onto Showit and though at first I was absolutely struggling, I am cruising now and it seems to be just flying by even with how much work it really is to make this website! Maybe because it mostly just feels like play✨

I still dont have a set launch date but I feel like it will be at least a couple of weeks from now as theres lots to do along with running OLLY in general and having client work but I will be figuring out that launch date soon and will keep you all updated!

Branding needs to be about your audience as well as about you.

With each project, we are not only getting to know the basic elements needed to create a strong strategy and visual identity for your brand, but we are focusing on getting to know YOU.

This brand is probably your baby and we get that. We want to make sure that you can see yourself in it!

You are the one who is bringing this business to life and maintaining its identity far after our work together is done. So it has to feel like you.

Why do we do what we do?
What’s it all for?

Hey it’s HollyRose here, founder of OLLY Design Studio. I believe the most important part of any business is absolutely the WHY and the reason I started this design studio is literally because of one main goal I’ve always had in my life since I could remember.

It really all comes down to the fact that I’ve always wanted to create positive change within my career choice, and that I’ve always been an artist at heart.

It took me (what feels like) a long time to figure out how I can make a significant impact in a way that aligns with my passions (and it took me a long time to figure out what those were too lol) but ever since going vegan in 2014 when I was 16 (for the animals aka an ethical vegan), I have had a big mental and lifestyle focus on the power of the dollar.

I believe the dollar is the greatest single vote out there. Aka, the market and its influence on what we produce, consume and waste.

At the beginning of this pandemic I started designing websites for some extra income and realized how valuable of an opportunity my skills could be for the businesses I want to see creating positive impact using the power of the dollar.

As I’ve developed my skills and knowledge about this industry (design, branding and conscious business practice) my passion for this work has only grown stronger as well.

I REALLY want to see OLLY Design Studio become a known name in the conscious business community around the world so that I want to help by doing what I love for a cause I love.
