If you could go back and talk to the old version of yourself
 what would you say?

That was one of my favorite parts of this conversation with .CakeStudio.

Cause I think a lot of people spend so much time worrying about the risk, the money, what people are gonna think, whether they’re “ready”


When sometimes the better move is just betting on yourself and going after the thing you actually love.

Doesn’t mean it won’t be hard. Doesn’t mean it won’t be scary.

But life’s probably too short to spend it building something you don’t even care about.

Starting a business is wild!

One minute you’re excited as hell about what you’re building
 the next minute you’re sitting there like, “Damn
 am I even supposed to be doing this?” 😂

I think way more people deal with imposter syndrome than they wanna admit. Especially when you actually care and you’re trying to build something real.

That’s one thing I respected hearing from Bloom Cake Studio. Starting something is scary. Betting on yourself is scary. Putting your work out there for people to judge? Also scary 😅

But at some point, you just gotta trust yourself enough to take the shot and figure it out as you go. Cause truthfully
 most people are figuring it out along the way.

Also gotta give some love to our friends over at .dental for helping support local stories like this and other awesome local businesses in our community. Love seeing local businesses helping lift each other up. 🙌

If you’re building something right now and lowkey questioning yourself
 keep going.

It’s kinda crazy how the things we grow up around end up shaping what we’re passionate about later in life.

For .CakeStudio, a lot of that childhood inspiration found its way into desserts. The creativity, the little details, the feeling something gives you when it reminds you of a memory
 that stuff matters.

Honestly, watching somebody turn something they loved as a kid into something they genuinely care about as an adult is pretty cool to see. đŸ”„

There’s something to be said about keeping it simple.

When it comes to desserts, texture matters just as much as flavor—but sometimes people overcomplicate things trying to make it “perfect.”

Watching the process behind what .CakeStudio does is honestly pretty cool. The attention to detail, the textures, the little things most people don’t even notice
 that’s what turns good desserts into the kind people keep talking about.

And sometimes? Less is more. đŸ”„
