Coleen Austin Art & Design Fine Artist & Graphic Designer
Vibrant by Nature, Wild by Design. "Art is how I find my light, color is how I share it."

My creative journey is fueled by a deep love for the natural world and a fascination with how we communicate through visuals. Whether I am capturing the soul of wildlife in acrylics or building a strategic brand identity for a business, my goal is to find the light in every project and share it with the world.

Hereā€™s a sneak peek at the characters and cozy details making up my brand-new Cozy Autumn Collection, arriving this Friday, October 9th!

I wanted to capture everything I love about this season: sleeping black cats, friendly ghosts, sweet little witches, and stacks of magic lore. Fridayā€™s drop includes:

ā€¢ 3 Coordinating Seamless Pattern Repeats (digital downloads for fabric sewists, stationery makers, and crafters)

ā€¢ 5" x 7" digital download sticker sheet

Mark your calendar for Friday morning! Which little illustration is your absolute favorite? (Drop a šŸˆā€ā¬›, šŸŽƒ, šŸ‘», or šŸ“š in the comments!)

I swear he watched me the entire time I was inking him.

Thereā€™s just something about a crow perched on weathered bark that instantly turns the whole room into a cozy autumn folktale. Building up those deep, velvety blacks against bright white Stonehenge paper was pure magic.

Would you trust him to deliver a secret message, or is he definitely plotting something?

Creating this piece was so relaxing. It felt like working on a puzzleā€”tackling one little section at a time until suddenly the whole scene was there. A Toadā€™s Autumn Tale.

What do you think of him?

Slow, rainy day, curled up with a cozy blanket, a cup of hot chocolate, and my drawing board. A Toadā€™s Autumn Tale is 12 inches in diameter and has lots of details. Love how it's turning out šŸŒ§ļøāœļøšŸ’•

The Etsy shop is officially open! šŸŒæāœØ

Iā€™ve moved my bookmarks and 5-pack greeting card bundles over to Etsy.

I only have a limited amount of stock on hand for these, and once they sell out, they won't be restocked.

Behind every new art collection and design release is a good plan! šŸ–ŠļøāœØ

Unapologetically a planner girl at heart. The Happy Planner launched their fall collection on September 10th. I couldn't resist: the Love L+S Classic on the left will be my everyday studio hub for Coleen Austin Art & Design, mapping out collection themes, sketching release schedules, and keeping creative projects on track, while the Wildflower Daydream Big Faith Planner on the right is set aside for Bible study and intentional reflection.

The best part? Theyā€™ve already shipped and will arrive this Monday! Yes, I fully geek out over paper and discs, and I have zero patience while waiting for this box to hit my porch. šŸ˜šŸ“¦āœØ
