We’re proud to announce that filmmaker & Kalamazoo Masters swimmer Danny Kim’s documentary “A Day in the Life of Kik Pool” will screen at the Royal Starr Film Festival 2019 in Royal Oak, Michigan on Friday, September 13th at 5:00 pm.
There are 300,000 community pools across the United States. This is the story of one of them.
With beautiful images and insightful interviews, “A Day in the Life of Kik Pool” uniquely captures the story of a community pool and the impact it has on those who use it. From the dedication of pre-dawn Masters workouts to the surprising importance of open swims at sunset, this film will forever change the way you think about your local pool.
