Papi's pizza cafe will close by the end of March if they don't have an increase in business soon. So come on down and have some pizza or carryout or delivery anything helps.
Papi's needs your help!
Humility is hard and asking for help requires a humble heart. Our business is struggling and unfortunately if things don't change we will be forced to close our doors. We greatly enjoy serving this community and providing you with the highest quality food and service. Honestly we are not sure where things began to decline but over the past 6 months we have struggled to pay the overhead required to keep our doors open. I know we have been inconsistent with our hours and that may have played a role in the decline of patrons but as a new business we are trying to find our niche and have made quite a few changes in an effort to do so.
Those we have talked to say they love Papi's food and can't believe we are not busy. And the three statements we hear most often are... "I've been meaning to try that place" or "I always forget about that place" or even "where's that at I've never heard of Papi's". We have tried many different marketing ideas to no avail and we are at a loss as to what to do. At this point we can't afford to take on anymore overhead to try and reach new customers and our social media marketing is only going so far. Therefore as a last attempt to try and save our business we are putting out this post to see what happens. If things don't turn around we will be forced to close our doors at the end of March. We are not asking for a hand out or donations but rather we are asking those who love Papi's and want us to stay open to come out and support us. Dine-in, carryout or delivery every little bit helps.
We are firm believers that everything happens for a reason and that God will provide for us no matter what happens. We would love nothing more than to see Papi's thrive as we have poured our entire life savings along will much blood, sweat and tears into this business and would be very disappointed to see it close. However that would not be the end of our story just the start of a new chapter in our lives.
We hope Kankakee will provide us with the support we need to continue serving this great community but if not we would like to thank you all for the love and patronage you have shown us thus far. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and if you want to help please do so by praying, sharing this post and coming in for some mighty good food.
Thank you and God bless 💖
