Have you ever had a holiday created in your name???

I have, but I don't celebrate it every year.

That changes today!

National Amy Lynn Day was created in 2016 by the leadership team of a Healthcare IT project I was working on in Canada.

Such a fun, simple way to say, "We appreciate you and all of your hard work."

And a good reminder for me that I'm a valuable part of a team, even when I'm working on my own.

Owning your own business is filled with emotional highs and lows, and along with the lows there are moments of loneliness and self doubt, so it's good to hold on to the memories of all of the amazing work that you've done and remind yourself that you're awesome.

My daughter turns 5 today and I definitely have all of the feels. 🥰

She changed my life in ways I never could have imagined.

One of which is owning my own business.

It's something that I'm not sure I would have started without having her in my life.

I had never even considered it before.

But the last five years have taught me so much about myself and have given me the courage to do hard things.

I am so grateful for her and the wise woman she is becoming. 🫶

🎻 It started with at the - 9 cellists, juggling, and the Pink Panther?!?

Great company and an all around good time.

🎉 Then I went to Dr. Noe’s retirement celebration at

He worked there for 40 years!

I was lucky enough to have him as a professor and to be in the first graduating class for the Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership program.
