Small business owners will understand this one.

There is nothing wrong with competitive pricing. But there’s a huge difference between pricing competitively and throwing out a number so low that there’s no possible way it accounts for product cost, labor, fees, overhead, taxes, mistakes, customer service… all the things that actually come with running a business.

And then the rest of us are left trying to explain why a sustainable price isn’t “overpriced.”

Being the cheapest has never been my goal. Building a business that can continue serving customers, paying its bills, and still be here years from now is.

Sometimes the race to the bottom has no winner.
