Great story from Johnson County Post about POG opening its second location in Shawnee.

The Johnson County Post covered our Shawnee grand opening and ribbon cutting last week and captured the excitement we all feel about expanding into Johnson County, KS. As Shawnee Mayor Mickey Sandifer said about why our mission resonates with him: "This is life and death."

Thank you to the Johnson County Post for telling this story and to every donor, partner, and community supporter who made this pharmacy expansion possible. We've posted a link to the full article on our blog:

KSHB 41 was the first TV station to cover Pharmacy of Grace. They did this follow up this morning ahead of the grand opening of the new Shawnee location!

When Pharmacy of Grace opened its first location in 2022, it filled six prescriptions on its first day.

Demand has since surged.

Taylor Hemness KSHB reports the pharmacy is now filling 130 prescriptions per day and is opening a second location in Shawnee.

One of my responsibilities in public relations is helping connect journalists with my clients' stories. That's just part of the job.

But stories like this remind me why it's important work.

Seeing Pharmacy of Grace's expansion in Shawnee featured on the news this morning was exciting because I know someone watching may discover a resource they didn't know existed or realize that affordable prescription medications are within reach.

That's the kind of publicity I love... the kind that really helps people.

Grateful to work with organizations making a real difference, and to the journalists who help tell their stories. Thanks Matt Stewart

Always love to see Matt Stewart hanging out at Unicorn Theatre.. he came out to cover the last show of the season so Ernie Nolan dropped praise for the amazing playwright and some sneak peeks at what's coming next season at Unicorn Theatre. Director Teisha Bankston talked about how Don't Touch My Hair is a celebration of Black womanhood and... superpowers. You'll need to see the show to understand. It's running through May 24th!
