“The place in which I’ll fit will not exist until I make it.” - James Baldwin

I don’t know the history on the bus itself but since working in the city it’s always stood out to me.

The Green Duck Lounge at 2548 Prospect was more than a tavern — it was a hub of political organizing led by Leon M. Jordan, Kansas City’s first Black police lieutenant and a co-founder of Freedom Inc. Today, the building still stands, with an old bus parked out front like a relic, holding the weight of history in the heart of KC.

Some stories are loud — full of lights, stages, and applause.
Others are quiet — built in garages, late nights, and early mornings.

But every single one matters.
Because behind every hustle, every craft, and every dream, there’s a human being who refused to stay silent.

This is why I do what I do.
To put a lens on the ones the world might scroll past.
To prove that no matter how big or small, your story has weight.

🎤 THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A QUICK SHOOT.
But the camera doesn’t lie — and what it caught wasn’t just rap.
It was family. It was discipline. It was legacy in motion.

I linked up with FrosTT to film some behind-the-scenes of his music.
But the more I watched, the more I realized — he’s not just chasing streams.
He’s building something his sons can stand on.

FrosTT is a father first and an artist second — but he never leaves his boys out of the family business.
From the studio to the stage, they see everything.
They watch him write, record, perform — and they learn what it looks like to grind for something that matters.

In an era where clout comes first and craft comes second, he’s truly the last of a dying breed.
No shortcuts. No ghostwriters. No fake streams.
Just raw bars, sharpened delivery, and a message behind every verse.

Every track is passion in motion — built to inspire, teach, and remind people they’re capable of more.
It’s not toxic flexing. It’s not empty hype.
It’s music that feeds the spirit but still knocks hard enough to make your head snap.
His verses carry lessons in resilience, fatherhood, and self-respect — proof you can still go bar-for-bar while lifting people up.

I followed him from pen and pad to booth and back again.
Watched him turn life experience into lethal punchlines.
Every session felt like a masterclass in both music and manhood.

What started as a favor — helping my boy film a promo for his pool cleaning business — turned into something way deeper.

I showed up to capture content.
But what I saw through the lens was more than just labor.
It was discipline.
It was rhythm.
It was a man locked into his purpose — moving with intent like every job mattered.

And it does.

Every pool cleaned, every step repeated, every hose coiled — it told a story.
Of someone who found peace in the process.
Of someone who built something from scratch and stood on it.

💡 That’s when I knew this wasn’t a promo.
This was a documentary.

Too often we overlook the ones who work with their hands.
We scroll past the grit, the repetition, the pride in the routine.
But this — this is where the real stories live.

This isn’t about going viral.
It’s about showing what it looks like when someone pours soul into the everyday.

No clickbait. No fake drama. Just work.
Real. Raw. Relentless.

I tried to capture both the what and the why.
This is what it looks like when someone builds their own freedom — one job at a time.
