Turns out, the BR Fam knows exactly what to do with a Friday afternoon. 😎

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, BR gives us Friday afternoons off. Take care of the work. Then go enjoy summer.

And we did.

Trips. Ballgames. Family time. Outside time. And plenty of good moments we didn’t catch on camera.

Tomorrow is our last Summer Friday of 2026, so we’re looking back at how some of those extra hours got spent.

Very grateful for the gift of time. 💛

New people. New work. One pretty special BR first.

We kicked off the week welcoming three new employees over lunch, then brought everyone together Wednesday for agency updates, new employee intros and a look at the work getting underway.

And tucked into all that new was a little BR history.

Bob and Phyliss Bernstein joined us, and after 60+ years of BR, Phyliss made it to her very first agency meeting. ❤️

Busy week. Good week.

Definitely photo-dump worthy.

One mom. Three daughters. One back-to-school list. And, of course, a few things that were not on it. 🎒

For our latest Retail Store Walk, Courtney Amos took her girls to Walmart for the kind of family shopping trip parents know well.

The basics were easy to find. One empty shelf meant the one-stop plan could have turned into another errand. Then the fun finds gave the girls plenty to get excited about.

Back-to-school retail has to do both.

Help the parent finish the list. Give the kids a reason to enjoy the trip.

The best experiences make room for both.

In the second video of our annuities series for American National, an annuities specialist helps connect a familiar concern to a clearer understanding of where annuities may fit.

The first video answered, “Why does this matter to me?” This one begins answering, “What might help?” Each message has one job, and the full series builds from there.

We’re proud to create this work with American National giving people useful information at a pace they can actually follow.
