Media Mix of Kansas City

Media Mix of Kansas City Media Mix of Kansas City is a non-profit membership organization, composed of media professionals. It’s “the” event of the year!

Our mission is to provide opportunities for personal and professional enrichment. Annual programs include Lunch & Learns and Social Happy Hours. Our annual Awards Banquet, held each year in June, recognizes outstanding performers in our community. The annual summer charity golf tournament and sports auction is our biggest fundraiser, and has become part of our culture. The best part of being a Media Mix member is feeling good about giving back to our community. Our organization is 100% volunteer-run, so all proceeds go directly to our charity, St. Vincent’s Operation Breakthrough.

Travis Kelces Fiancée Taylor Swift donated a crazy $250,000 to ‘Operation Breakthrough’, an organization that Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce has been a supporter of for the past decade.

Operation Breakthrough is a Kansas City nonprofit that provides programs and quality child care for children of the working poor.

The money from Swift will be divided between three programs: the workforce development and entrepreneurship program which includes 10 labs where kids can learn industry trades, the before and after school program which provides child care services for families when school is not in session, and the early learners program.

The Media Mix Board handed out cookies yesterday for National Cookie Day! This was our very last holiday gathering at Operation Breakthrough before dissolving the organization later this month. We will miss these kiddos but know we’ll all continue to volunteer for this organization that we love! Happy Holidays, everyone! 🎅🏼 🎄
