Authentic Style can show up in small changes…

Have you ever found an item of clothing that checks almost all the boxes but for some reason it still feels off?

This is the case for Geena’s dress. In slide two you can see the original sleeve seam (left) was a little below her natural shoulder. Leading to Geena only wearing this once before she realized she was constantly shifting to make it feel better on her body. Before fully giving up and donating it, she decided to try altering it by lifting where the seams meet. (right side) This changed the structure to where she actually felt her natural energy spring up when she put it on.

So before getting rid of that item in your closet, ask yourself will it be better if altered?
