Job Title: Sign Fabricator
Location: Midwest Sign Company, LLC at 550 Stanley Road, Kansas City, KS 66115
Shifts: 6 am to 2:30 pm or 7 am to 3:30 pm, Full time
Midwest Sign Company, LLC seeks a skilled Sign Fabricator/Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team.
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator/ Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for building and assembling
large custom signs and structures using sheet metal components and tools. You will work with a team
of fabricators and installers to produce high-quality products that meet our customers' specifications.
We are willing to provide welding skills training to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have
at least 2 years of experience with sheet metal fabrication, LED low voltage electrical experience,
aluminum and steel MIG welding experience, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints/artwork and specifications to determine project requirements
• Use and maintain heavy metalworking tools, such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment, to
cut, shape, and join metal components
• Operate forklifts and/or other heavy equipment to lift and move large structures
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using metalworking tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
