Many parts of this website have been coded to create an experience that feels handcrafted.

We have quietly been offering Shopify development this year and are excited to share the new Monday Form website!

Rachel makes luxury, clean burn candles and launched with three different scents!

knocked it out of the park with the branding and web design and we took it from there in Shopify. What we ended up with was a calm, luxe vibe with a straight to the point UX for easy purchasing. My favorite detail is the hover to light the candle image change 😍

CLIENT CASE STUDY: Mandali Retreat Centre

This site pushed the limits of what Showit + WordPress can do together.

Showit gives us total design freedom, with pixel-perfect layouts and no template constraints. WordPress brings the backend power to handle complex, dynamic functionality. Together, they’re the ultimate combo for clients who need a site that’s both stunning and smart.

We built a site that practically runs itself. Retreats auto-update based on date, teacher profiles link dynamically to their upcoming retreats, and the client can manage everything from the backend without touching a line of code.

Here’s what went into this build:

⚡️Custom post type setup for retreats with smart filtering that only shows upcoming retreats and automatically archives past ones, no manual upkeep needed

⚡️A custom-coded month navigation bar so visitors can browse retreats by month and automatically hides past retreats

⚡️Fully bookable status controls so the client can toggle a retreat to “Fully Booked” with one click, and the buttons update across the entire site

⚡️Teacher profiles that auto-pull their assigned retreats and sort alphabetically

⚡️Custom coded single retreat template that is customizable per retreat

⚡️A REST API endpoint and JS content swap to display upcoming retreats chronologically on the homepage

⚡️Custom coded FAQ sections for a smoother visitor experience

The goal? A site that’s fast, easy to manage on the backend, and just as beautiful on the front end. That’s the magic of pairing Showit’s design flexibility with WordPress’s functionality. You don’t have to compromise on either.

We’ve been working on this site with Olivia .designstudio since last year and it’s truly been a labor of love. This site REALLY showcases how powerful the Showit 🤝 Wordpress integration can be. It’s also one of the most complex Showit sites we’ve ever built, featuring multiple custom-coded functions and solutions.

Two of the client’s main concerns coming from a straight WP site were site speed and the ability to easily update things without tons of manual changes. We created a completely custom Wordpress backend and custom post type setup that made things as automated and dynamic as possible while still paying attention to site speed and performance. (Which can be super tricky with the amount of content on this one!)
