ATTENTION !!
I’m reaching out to our Sealy, Katy, Cypress and surrounding community with a full heart and a very real ask.
Sealy DIY Studio is working to include 70 campers this year who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend camp.
Last year, I had the opportunity to work the camp, and I saw firsthand the impact it had on each and every child who walked through those doors.
So many of them were truly grateful. Many understood that they would not have been there if someone had not helped provide that opportunity for them.
And the growth I saw in those children was magnificent.
I watched kids light up, regardless of what may have been happening at home, at school, or elsewhere in their lives. They showed up with open hearts, open minds, and so much creativity.
They made friendships.
They encouraged each other.
They celebrated everyone’s wins.
They created with joy.
They experienced what it feels like to belong.
That is what this is really about.
The goal is to raise $50,000 to help sponsor these 70 campers, fund the projects they will get to create, and support the staff and programming that make camp possible.
A $300 donation sponsors one child for one full week of camp.
But please know this is not only for large donors. Every gift matters.
$25 helps.
$50 helps.
$100 helps.
Sharing this post helps.
Connecting us with a local business, church, organization, or family who may want to give helps.
We are inviting local citizens, businesses, churches, community groups, and anyone who believes in showing up for kids to be part of this.
This is about more than art camp.
It is about giving children access to creativity.
It is about helping families.
It is about building confidence.
It is about creating a safe place where kids can show up as they are.
It is about making sure cost is not the reason a child misses out.
It is about community taking care of community.
I would love the opportunity to help share that experience again this year — to see these children create, grow, connect, and light up the way I saw them do last year.

For larger donations, business sponsorships, or check donations, I am happy to come pick them up in person.
Whether you are able to give, share, pray over this effort, connect us with someone, or simply help spread the word — thank you.
Every child matters.
Every donation matters.
Every share matters.
Let’s help make room for these 70 campers this year.
Sincerely and Hopeful ,
