Stroll Cane Island is exclusive to the Cane Island community in Katy, TX "Delivering Neighborhood Connections" through sharing resident stories, photos, and happenings you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Across the nation, homeowners like you will be connected in the experience of living in a Stroll-worthy neighborhood. Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these in

dividuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of Cane Island, TX. There is no better way for a business to secure long-term success than to make the right connections.

Coffee lovers, this one is for you! ☕ We are loving our Recipe of the Month in the August issue submitted by Gabriel and Wanda Flores.

Texas Butter Pecan Coffee Creamer

Ingredients: 🍽️
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter extract
1/2 teaspoon pecan extract
1/4 teaspoon maple extract, optional
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Directions: 📖
1. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium-low heat until fragrant.
2. Add the butter and stir until melted.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and add the brown sugar. Stir until dissolved, then steep over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the extracts, salt, and cinnamon.
5. Strain out the pecans, cool, bottle, and refrigerate. Shake before using.

Use within 5 to 7 days. 😋
