Just a cow on a bag? Think again!
Our client Priority IAC was looking to produce custom commemorative tote bags honoring “The White Cow” and her incredible legacy!
D-R-A August EX-96 4E (1978-1998) was a legendary, world-renowned dairy cow recognized as one of the most remarkable matriarchs in Holstein and Red Holstein breeding history. While living at Clover Mist Farms in Manitowoc, WI, under the care of Richard V. Breunig, “The White Cow” reached several distinct milestones in her 19 years and became the inspiration for founding Priority IAC.
As a prolific bearer of embryos shipped all over the world, August became the foundation of a genetic empire that’s still dominating show rings today. She is the direct maternal anchor behind a massive dynasty, including the “Apple” and “Altitude” lineages, with more than 80% of elite Red Holsteins worldwide tracing back to August.
The image was captured by Stan Grosz in 1994, as the famous “white cow” grazed the pasture at Clover Mist Farms.
