I was out of town last week when my son sent me a text "Adam West died". I was heart broken, my ultimate childhood hero is gone. I'm so old I saw him portray Batman in the movie theater! So, when we were working on "Welcome to Keansburg" I wrote a song in his honor. With the help of my cousin Sal Schembri we put together a demo video for the song Gotham City Rhumba. I sent the script to 20th Century Fox for approval to use footage and they told me, absolutely! Just give us $80 thousand dollars! WTF! So the video was never completed or posted online. My hero is gone so the unfinished piece will be posted for a couple of days. I hope you enjoy it. Let me present to you "The Gotham City Rhumba", starring Adam West, featuring music by the Two Can Band.
