Coming to the Artmil blog this Halloween. 👻

Apparently, the Readers needed some party glasses. 🥂✨

When J Bookwalter Wines told us they were adding their first sparkling w**e to their Readers lineup, we knew those iconic spectacles on the label needed some extra, well… spectacle. Our inspiration? A little glitter. A little shine. And maybe just a little Elton John playing in the earbuds. 😉

Their new 2025 Sparkling Chenin Blanc releases this month.

Same great Readers. Now with sparkle.

Three conductors. Four programs. One exciting new chapter for the Mid-Columbia Symphony!

Here’s the poster we created for the Symphony’s 82nd season, “Maestro Showcase,” kicking off October 17. The 2026–2027 season introduces three candidates for the next music director, each conducting a program of their own design to showcase their personality and musical vision.

We paired bold typography, bright colors, and playful, mid-century-inspired instruments to capture the energy of the season. Artmil has been the Symphony’s visual designer since the 2004–2005 season, and we’re glad to help introduce this next chapter in its story.

Don't miss the October 17 opening concert, "The Great Outdoors," at Richland High Auditorium featuring guest conductor Dr. Danh Pham!

When a national-chain pharmacy closed in The Dalles, Murray's Pharmacy saw an opportunity to let nearby communities know they had another option: Murray's Condon Pharmacy. We helped turn that idea into a targeted direct-mail campaign to Sherman County, Oregon.

We developed the message, designed the postcard with a vintage small-town pharmacy feel, printed the cards, and handled the mailing—all the way through delivery to the Post Office.

The cards were sent using Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM), a USPS program that lets businesses reach every mailing address on selected mail routes without purchasing a traditional mailing list or addressing each piece individually. It’s an efficient, cost-effective option when you want to reach an entire neighborhood, town, or—in this case—county.

That’s the kind of start-to-finish service we love providing at Artmil.

What’s happening upstairs at Artmil? A lot of picking—and now, much easier browsing. 🎸

We recently redesigned the website for Spiritwood Acoustic, the consignment instrument shop operated by Artmil founder Dennis Miller and Shawn Hughes. The new site gives them a much better way to add, update, and display their ever-changing inventory of well-loved guitars, mandolins, banjos, amplifiers, and more.

Take a look online—and if something strikes the right chord, Spiritwood is just upstairs from us and open by appointment or every-other Saturday.

🚀 Did you know you can travel the solar system 🪐 right here in the Tri-Cities? And we got to design the passport that helps make the journey happen! 🌎

The Hanford Reach Solar System is a years-long project of SILAS Education and local students, in partnership with the REACH Museum and Visit Tri-Cities, Washington. This scale model of our planetary neighborhood is centered on the ☀️ 'Solar Arches' sculpture at the REACH Museum, with markers placed throughout the region representing the orbits of planets and other celestial bodies.

Explorers can take their Solar System Passport along for the journey, recording each stop and making a rubbing of the unique symbol found on each orbital marker. Complete the journey and take your finished passport to one of the participating Prize Partners to receive a special souvenir.

We had a lot of fun developing and designing the passport to bring the whole experience together — part field guide, part activity book, and part keepsake for exploring our corner of the solar system. And we designed the prize souvenirs as well.

Participating communities include City of Richland Government, City of Kennewick Government, City of West Richland Government, City of Benton City, and City of Prosser Government.

🎲 Luck be a lady this weekend!

We’re wishing our friends at Yes& Productions a fantastic opening weekend of Guys & Dolls, starting this Friday!

We had a great time designing the poster artwork for the show, and we’re excited to see it come to life on stage.

Of course, every big gamble has a wild card. The wildfire smoke may have forced their hand, moving them from the outdoor stage to an indoor venue—but the show goes on!

Break a leg to the entire cast and crew. Here’s to a full house and a great run! 🎭🎲

🪼🐠 A community college with an Aquarium Science program?! 🐡🦀🐙

That's just one of the many unique programs you'll discover on the newly launched website we created for Oregon Coast Community College, serving Lincoln City, Newport, and Waldport, Oregon.

Their existing website had grown over time, making it difficult to organize information and maintain a consistent look that reflected their brand. We worked alongside their team to simplify the site structure, consolidate content, and create a flexible system of modular page templates that are easy to use today and ready to grow with them in the future.

The result is a cleaner, more consistent website that helps students, staff, and the community find what they need while making it easier for the college to keep the site updated.

Take a look at the new site: https://oregoncoast.edu/

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with Oregon Coast Community College on this project!

Yes& Productions made a big announcement at their fantastic "Party in the USA" concert on July 3: "Les Misérables" will be their Summer 2027 production!

We were sworn to absolute secrecy as we created this new take on the classic image of Cosette for the teaser poster. We also printed the large version they unveiled live on stage to the cheers of the crowd. Looking forward to August 2027!

Heading to the pool, a BBQ, or a summer picnic? Grab a Book Bag!

We were excited to help J Bookwalter Wines adapt the artwork from their popular Notebook w**e labels for this fun new package.

It's perfect for summer—pour a glass when you want one and the remaining w**e stays fresh for up to 30 days. And when the sign says "No glass in the pool area," you're all set.

Cheers to good design and good ideas. 🍷☀️
