Everyone who knows me knows about my advocacy work, and how much I care about people and organizations doing good in the world.

Every year, nonprofit organizations reach out to me for help with branding, print design, and website design, and most of them are working with little to no marketing budget. I wish I could say yes to every single one at no cost. I can’t, I’m one person, and free work only stretches so far…

So I built a program to make it official: Three for Good.

Three times a year, I’ll open applications. Each round, I’ll select one nonprofit to support at no cost, with the same care I bring to every paying client.

Applications for the first round open September 15th. I’ll announce the selection in October.

We can ALL spot the AI flyers now and so can your customers.

Same fonts… exact same layout. Everyone’s using the same prompt to make the same flyer, and it’s obvious.

I’m not mad. Okay, I’m a little mad. But mostly I want small businesses to know what they’re actually choosing when they choose a REAL designer. Design that still takes a human.

Because when you support a real person instead of a prompt, you’re not just getting a flyer that doesn’t look like everyone else’s… you are keeping a small business open, a family paid, a kid on the basketball team. That’s what “supporting local” actually means.

Supporting local is really important right now for Kerrville’s economy. 🖤

Three years. I still can't believe it.

Three years of designing logos, building brands, creating websites, and yes, for those of you who have noticed, getting behind a camera too. What started as a passion for small businesses and a desire to bring something different to the design world has grown into something I am so incredibly proud of.

I started The Design Booth because I believed that small businesses deserve great branding. Not cookie-cutter designs, not rushed work, but intentional, strategic design that actually reflects who they are. That belief has not changed. If anything, it has only grown stronger.

To every client who has trusted me with their brand, their business, and their vision, thank you. Genuinely. You are the reason this studio exists and the reason I love showing up every single day. Watching your businesses grow is the best part of this work.

I also want to take a moment to celebrate someone who has become an essential part of what The Design Booth is today. Heather joined me almost two years ago as my business manager, and this studio would not be what it is without her. She keeps things running, keeps me on track, and makes it possible for me to focus on the creative work I love. Heather, thank you for everything.
