Lima Juliet Digital Lima Juliet was started because I was tired of the agency world's broken promises and recycled processes. I don't just give advice from the sidelines.

Sophisticated, but never boring. After over a decade leading marketing campaigns for brands of all sizes, I wanted to build something different: a practice rooted in honesty, smar

t problem-solving, and work I could be proud of. This isn't about churning through as many clients as possible. It's about doing exceptional work for businesses that want marketing strategies tailored to their specific goals. From media buying and CRM systems to email campaigns and social media strategy, I handle everything personally because your success is my priority. I roll up my sleeves and execute the strategies myself. When something isn't working, we figure it out together. That's the difference between working with Lima Juliet Digital and hiring just another agency. Based in Washington DC and Key West, but serving businesses nationwide who want marketing that makes sense for their unique goals.

Spent some time at Hemingway Home Museum and it is just what I needed.

The man built a legacy on cutting the fluff. Keeping only what mattered. Letting the words tell the truth.

That's my job too. Just... you know... with spreadsheets instead of sentences.

A hard thing for some in the industry to admit is running digital ads isn't the hard part anymore. Anyone can do that. AI can do that.

So. What you actually need?
Someone who lives inside the numbers. Who knows what's live, what's converting, what's quietly bleeding your budget, and what it all actually means.

That's not a tool.

That's a person. That's experience. That's me.

But hey… there are worse ways to start a Monday.

It can be so hard to type from paradise…

Just kidding. Kind of. 😂🫣

I’m not saying move to Key West, but I am saying it’s 72 degrees and I haven’t seen a single snow scraper in weeks so… do with that information what you will.

ANYWAY.

While I’m over here forgetting what a coat feels like, there’s a strong chance your audience is still in winter mode. Cold, over it, and scrolling.

Which means your ads better reflect that.

Timely creative is the difference between stopping the scroll and getting ignored. And that’s not just a weather thing. If you still have Halloween creative up and running… yikes. 😬 Not good.

Meet your audience where they are… not where you wish you were.

Unless you’re in Key West. In which case, same. 😎

Miss me? … Don’t answer that.

I took a little unplanned hiatus. But the good news is I’m in Key West!

Officially!

Like, boxes unpacked, dogs down here… All that good stuff.

I know, rough life. Somebody had to do it.

Lima Juliet Digital is still very much up and running!
Same work.
Same standards.

Just a significantly better view and zero complaints about it.

Hey dad, I escaped the snow!

We are 3 weeks into the new year. How's it going?

Be honest.

Me? I've been moving slower than I thought I would. Which feels weird to admit when you run a business built on strategy and ex*****on, but here we are.

January had me convinced I needed to hit the ground sprinting. New year, fresh start, all that. But I'm learning (again) that sustainable momentum doesn't come from burning yourself out in the first three weeks.

So I'm adjusting. Focusing on what matters. Letting go of what doesn't.

If you're feeling the same way, you're not behind. You're just figuring it out like the rest of us.

So. Tell me. How's your January actually going? I really hope you're crushing it.

You don't need a New Year to make changes.

It happens every December; people sitting on decisions, waiting for January 1st like it's some magical reset button.

"I'll start my strategy in the new year."
"I'll finally get consistent after the holidays."
"New year, new marketing plan."
"10,000 steps starts January 1."

Here's the truth: January 1st is just another day. The only difference is the story you're telling yourself about it.

I love the "let's circle back to this next year" emails as much as anyone.
Really.

But if something needs to change in your business, waiting two weeks won't make it easier. It just delays the results you could already be working toward.

You want to fix your messaging? Start today.
Need a real strategy? Book the call now.
Ready to stop guessing? Don't wait for a calendar date to give you permission.

The businesses winning in January are the ones who didn't wait for a fresh calendar.

Christmas music has been on in my car since November 1st.

I don't care if it's "too early." I don't care if people think I'm extra... or is it "basic" now? My elder millennial heart has a hard time keeping track some days.

Holidays bring me joy. All of them. But Christmas? Christmas hits different.

The music. The lights. The vibe. The excuse to celebrate and slow down for a minute. I'm here for all of it.

Some people wait until after Thanksgiving to start celebrating. Cool. I started three weeks ago. Life's too short to follow arbitrary rules about when you're allowed to enjoy things.

If it makes you happy, do it. Whether that's Christmas music in October, holiday decorations before Thanksgiving, or literally anything else that brings you joy.

Permission granted.

And in case you were wondering, this is The Plaza Hotel in NYC. ✨ DC, Key West, New York. Wherever great businesses are, that's where I work.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have Mariah Carey to blast on repeat.

Let's have some fun! When did YOU start playing Christmas music? Early bird or do you wait until Thanksgiving? Drop your confession below 👇

Thanksgiving always makes me pause and actually think about what I'm grateful for. This year, running my own thing, it feels a little different.

Grateful for clients who trust me with their businesses. Who listen to honest advice even when it's not what they want to hear. Who celebrate wins with me and let me help them figure out the hard stuff.

Grateful for the ability to do work I actually love. Building strategies. Solving problems. Seeing businesses grow because we got the marketing right.

Grateful for coffee, my family, Key West sunsets (and the sunrises that get me through my morning runs), and the Washington Commanders (even though this year has been an absolute mess).

Grateful for the freedom to build a business on my own terms. To work with people I genuinely like. To show up as myself; tattoos, strong opinions, and all.

And grateful for everyone who follows along here, reads these posts, and trusts me enough to reach out when they need help.
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you're spending it with people you love, eating food that's way too good, and taking a minute to appreciate what's working in your life.

If you're just now planning your holiday ad campaigns... I have bad news.

You're late.

Holiday campaigns don't get thrown together in November. Or, at least they shouldn't. They should get planned in the spring/summer. Creative gets developed. Audiences get built. Budgets get allocated. Strategy gets locked in.

By the time December hits, you should be optimizing and scaling, not scrambling to figure out what to run.

I know it feels early when you're planning Christmas campaigns in July. But that's how you actually win during the holidays while everyone else is panic-posting and hoping something sticks.

If you're running ads right now with confidence? You planned ahead. If you're throwing stuff at the wall and praying? You didn't.

There's still time to salvage this season. But next year? Let's start a little closer to June.

Are you running holiday ads? Level with me, did you plan ahead or are you winging it? No judgment!

I make marketing make sense.

No jargon. No acronyms you have to Google. Absolutely no making you feel stupid for asking questions.

If I can't explain something simply, I don't understand it well enough. That's on me, not you, and I'll handle the Googling.

Marketing shouldn't feel like a foreign language. You should know what's happening with your business, why we're doing what we're doing, and what results we're looking for.

I've worked with enough people to know that most marketing consultants make things sound more complicated than they need to be.

Maybe it makes them feel smarter. I don't know.

I just think if you're paying someone to help your business grow, you deserve to understand how it's actually working.

So I explain everything. In normal words. Until it clicks.

That's part of the job.
