John has always been a good sport and he agreed to hold the paper. The headline is of no consequence the date is an important birthday for me for I am holding a letter informing me of when I would be getting my first Social Security Check.
This is a tribute (I was determined to have this picture taken) to all those wonderful friends I started making here in the early 70's and 80's who have gone before us. Thanking John I thought what a heck of a happy hour it would be at the Green Parrot if we all cashed our Social Security checks there at the same time.
