Thank you for the understanding and patience since I closed the storefront at the end of last month followed by the passing of my father in law. I will be reaching out this week to schedule pickups. I am in need of some muscle today to move some cabinets, shelves, tables and boxes from the storefront of Rocky Top Embroidery and More to the opp shop, storage unit, dumpster and my house. If you have some free time, I would greatly appreciate all the help we can get. Plan to load around 2:30 and be done no later than 4:30.

We are without electricity. So, I have called it a day. Hope to see you tomorrow as the retirement sale with more items continues. Shorts, sweatpants and more jackets have been added.

After 17 incredible years of dedication, talent, and hard work,
we will be celebrating the retirement of our FANTASTIC embroiderer, Candy Harrison on September 27 at 1 p.m. with cake and punch.

Your skill, creativity, and passion for embroidery has been
the heart of what Rocky Top has stood for the past 20 years.
The quality of your work has been second to none in our region
and seeked out by many. Your presence will be deeply missed.
From every stitch to every smile, you’ve made a
lasting impact, not only on our business but on everyone
who had the pleasure of working with you.
As you step into this exciting new chapter of life,
I want you to know how grateful I am for all the years
of loyalty, laughter, lifetime of stories and adventures and
friendship. You’ve been more than an employee;
you’ve been family, Nana Candy!. I am honored that you
came to help out for a couple weeks, years ago, and
stayed around. My best memories at Rocky Top, will
always include you! Thank you for being my ride or die
companion!

Hard to believe we started 20 years ago as a Girl Scout project and a dream to bring Fan Gear to our area. It is now time to slow down a bit and enjoy traveling and my grandchildren. I will be shifting Rocky Top to an online shop giving me the freedom to do my business from anywhere (i.e. the beach). I look forward to continuing to support KG in providing quality items and great prices. Please make a point to come out next week to shop for some amazing deals and to say See ya around! We will be having cake and drinks starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 27.
