Step back in time with the Norwell Historical Society on Sunday, June 28 from Noon–4:30 PM at the Jacobs Homestead!

History comes alive on the Jacobs fields as Col. Bailey’s 2nd Mass. Regiment, a group of Revolutionary War reenactors, sets up camp for the day. Both Joshua and John Jacob, who grew up in the Jacobs Farmhouse, served in Col. Bailey’s 2nd Regiment during the war.

Enjoy military drills, living history demonstrations, crafts, children’s activities, local nonprofit displays, livestock from the Farm-tastic 4-H’ers, and food, mocktails, and shaved ice from Cap’n Mike’s Tiki Truck.

Parking will be available at the South Shore YMCA Nature Center.

Bring the whole family to celebrate the Jacobs Farmhouse’s 300th birthday and America’s 250th anniversary. Admission is free!

Even on gloomy days like today, Marshfield’s trails remind us how important it is to get outside, slow down, and reconnect with nature. 🌿

The Marshfield Recreation Trails Committee is excited to continue monthly guided trail walks throughout 2026, along with the ongoing efforts of our dedicated Trail Ambassadors, whose volunteer work helps keep our trails clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Whether you’re a longtime trail lover or looking to explore for the first time, Marshfield’s trails offer something special in every season.

Follow on Instagram and find Marshfield Recreation Trails Committee on Facebook to see what they're up to and learn more about upcoming trail walks! 🥾

The Norwell Public Library has launched a new Little Free Pantry outside the library near the Community Bulletin Board, creating another meaningful way neighbors can support one another in our community.

Inspired by the generosity shown during the library’s recent food drive, the pantry is open during library hours and offers non-perishable food and hygiene items to anyone who may need them. No library card or proof of residence is required, just a simple philosophy: take what you need, and give when you can.

The library is also inviting the community to help stock the pantry through a new “leaf board” donation initiative. It’s a thoughtful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact. 💛

Flashing back to one of our recent BVM conferences in Orlando and feeling so grateful for the incredible colleagues who continue to inspire us with fresh ideas, creativity, and new ways to help our local small businesses reach their goals. ✨

It was such a fun few days connecting, learning, laughing, and motivating each other. We are already looking forward to the next conference and can’t wait to see these amazing ladies again soon! 💕

Spring has finally arrived on the South Shore, and with it comes the return to gardening. After a winter of slower movement, it’s easy to jump into mulching, planting, and weeding—but that sudden burst of activity often leads to the familiar “Spring Slump” of back pain and sore joints. 🚨

Gardening is more physical than it seems, with all the bending, lifting, and kneeling it requires. The best way to avoid injury isn’t just easing into the season—it’s preparing your body like you prepare your garden: with intention. 🪴

Focus on a few key areas of strength:
• Core stability to support your lower back
• Grip and upper body strength for lifting and carrying
• Smart bending and lifting mechanics using your legs, not your back

For those looking to build practical, real-world strength, The Exercise Coach North Pembroke offers two free sessions. Call or text 781-451-3721 to book!
