I had no intention of spending $400 this week…

The Power of Facebook & Instagram Ads (and how I accidentally did anyway)

I searched LED facemasks once.

That’s it.
One quick browse. No urgency. No buying plan.

Within an hour, my feeds were full of LED facemask ads.

Different brands.
Different hooks.
Different price points.
Different offers.

Retargeting at its finest.

At first, I ignored them.

But repetition builds familiarity.
Familiarity builds trust.
Trust reduces hesitation.

I started clicking.
Comparing.
Reading reviews.

And a few days later, I purchased a $400 LED facemask.

Not because I urgently needed it.

I love this video I got last weekend at a local conservation reserve, Lily was obsessed with her new turtle friend and named him Bert (she watched Mary Poppins over Christmas)

This week I have been BUSY, but it’s been amazing! I’ve really focussed on steady and intentional actions to build my business, and this has in turn allowed me to help others. I’ve had some incredible conversations with female business owners, discussing ad strategy and being able to support their growth.

Now I’m looking forward to a weekend with my babies and husband (and writing up a couple of proposals).

Christmas at Lily and Goose 🎄

As I sit and catch up on the Call The Midwife Christmas special (I’m British, it’s not Christmas without Call The Midwife!) I wanted to share a little glimpse in to our Christmas. We’ve celebrated Esme’s first Christmas and Lily’s first as the best big sister. We didn’t get as much done as we planned but it was still perfect! We’ve baked, been to parties, played lots of games, been for walks and just enjoyed time as a family. It’s been perfect (apart from the many trips to the drs - tis the season!)

t’s been a week of sickness in our house (me and the kids); lots of trips to the drs and pharmacy, lots of snuggles and movies, lots of simple and comforting food, juggling client communication when I had completely lost my voice, working in the moments where everyone was well enough for me to get bits done, but also some BIG decisions which I am so excited about!

I started the week by attending a full day Virtual Conference, I was BLOWN AWAY by everything I learnt and by Wednesday I made the decision to join the Mastermind.

Thursday I joined my first group coaching call with an incredible group of women where we shared ideas and learnt from in each other as well as our coach. I am beyond excited about this and what it means for the future of my business.

This evening I have spent time planning for my next 12 months; my goals; the Good, Better and Best outcomes, and how I can continue to grow and develop my skills to help my amazing clients.

Despite 2 sick kids and being sick myself, it’s been a great a week, and I am so excited for the next 12 months.

I can’t wait to take you all on this journey with me ❤️
