Last night, we announced the findings of the East Tennessee Music Census. With those findings, we launched the East Tennessee Music Council - a group that is on track to help strengthen our region’s music economy and infrastructure.

While we’re still reeling over the loss of East Tennessee’s matriarch, we are continuing our endeavors to bring true growth to our music scene.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 8/27), we are hosting the launch of the East TN Music Council.
Come enjoy free live music and discussion about how YOU can get involved at the regional level.
We’re meeting at the Visit Knoxville | Tennessee Visitors Center from the Blue Plate Special stage from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.

Rest in peace to a legend. Knoxville music wouldn’t be the same without Dolly and the impact that she made in our region.
From music to advocacy to most currently funding our Children’s Hospital, she never stopped fighting the good fight. God bless the Parton family.

Knoxville, we’ll be shutting down operation for a while. Adam and Alex have other projects that are taking up their time, and I’m in a place where I need to cut some things out to focus on others.

For the past 6 months or so, I’ve been doing this halfway, and I hate that. After canceling interviews on a few bigger, touring acts, I realize that I might not even be hitting the halfway threshold.

I believe there’s a way to launch a properly funded, non-biased, and development-focused Knoxville Music Office and I will continue working toward that. In the meantime, our social pages and website will stay live, but they’ll be mostly dormant.

I’m thankful to everyone that’s been supportive thus far - Knoxville is full of some of the best music in the world. If we haven’t yet connected personally, let’s work together. I’m glad to help you share your music with the world - just hit me up.
