When it comes to any advertising channel, it's important to understand whether you're targeting an interested audience or a passive one. Generally, you'll pay less for a passive audience, but they will also have the least intent to buy what you have to offer.

The most intent-focused advertising can be found in paid search advertising, where your ads display above search results on Google. Here, you have access to valuable analytics to improve your campaigns over time, and you only pay when someone clicks through to your website. People searching with specific keywords have already shown interest in what you offer and are actively looking to make a purchase. This method is scalable (assuming there are searches available) and offers the best opportunity to connect marketing dollars to revenue. Keep in mind that a decent budget (around $2500-$5000/month) is needed to fully leverage this channel. While you can start with a few hundred dollars, it may limit your ability to gain traction.

On the other hand, you may consider Facebook ads. We've witnessed success in home improvement, service-based businesses, and even e-commerce. However, the leads you get from Facebook will be less responsive and interested compared to other channels. They may not have delved into the details of your business.
