Happy birthday to our July babies, Jonathan and Annie! 🎉

Jonathan (July 2) is our boss man and the definition of leadership at Big Slate. He keeps us laughing and is always traveling, cooking, or thinking ahead on the next thing he wants to build.

Annie (July 15) is one of our Short-Form Specialists and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She’s amazing at both photo and video and brings such a good eye to everything she creates, balancing it all with life as a new mom.

We work on a lot of great campaigns, but this Metro Drug Coalition project is special for our crew. ❤️

We focused on youth substance misuse and brought the target demographic directly into the production. Our audio composer, William, brought his daughter, Cat, on set to co-direct.

Having her perspective kept the vision anchored to the people this campaign needs to reach. Also, she made the rest of our crew look a whole lot cooler, too. 😎
