We have a few important updates to share with our customers and community.
Our lease is up in April 2026, and we’ve been informed of a 205% rent increase at renewal. As a small, family-run business, changes like that require long-term planning and organization behind the scenes.
Nothing is changing right now — we are still open and operating as usual.
Over the last couple of months, we also experienced phone issues that caused missed calls and difficulty reaching us. These issues have now been fully resolved, and our business line is working properly again. Thank you for your patience.
As part of our long-term planning and record updates, we want to make a few points crystal clear for our customers:
📌 Who We Are
👉 Fountain City Sign is owned and operated solely by myself (Erin) and my father, Jim Cope.
👉 We do not have employees, representatives, partners, salespeople, or “consultants” working off-site or on our behalf.
👉 The only outside workers we’ve ever used were two 1099 contractors for vehicle graphics — no one else has ever worked for Fountain City Sign in any capacity.
If anyone has contacted you claiming to be associated with, consulting for, or representing Fountain City Sign, please notify us immediately, as these claims are not authorized.
📌 About Former Business Names
To avoid confusion:
Spotlight Graphics Studio, formerly operated by my father and the late Rick Beckley, is no longer active and should not be referenced or represented by anyone.
E.B.’s Tees is also no longer in operation.
We operate exclusively as Fountain City Sign.
📌 Office Access & Availability
We are still fully open and taking orders, but due to ongoing workspace updates and transitional planning, our office hours vary.
👉 Please contact us before stopping by, as we are often out on installs, in production, or handling work off-site.
👉 We are happy to schedule an appointment for in-person consultations or pickups.
This helps ensure you receive prompt service and that someone is available to assist you directly.
