Job description
Do you like working with people, creating unique items, working with your hands and using craft supplies? We are currently hiring for an immediate opening where you will have the opportunity to create custom items—from garments to printed projects—work closely with customers and set the tone for our showroom. Your smile will be the greeting image our customers first see, and your creations will be the final work their brands represent, which is why we need someone excited about relationships and high quality work! Our company is fast-paced, and each member of the team must be able to multi-task, prioritize and follow-up on projects daily.
We are hiring for an on-site team member at our new office in LaGrange. Work from home is not an option for this position.
This position will include greeting customers, answering phones, using our vinyl cutting machine, running the production copy machine and large format printer, operating the laminator and binder, receiving packages and verifying goods, daily housekeeping chores, using the cash register to accept payment and using a heat press. On a daily basis, you will communicate with our customers, create final goods for pick up, manage orders and organize inventory. At times you will refer our customers to a designer for more advanced design support.
Some things to expect from our small team are that we work together and support each other, we have a lot of fun, we set high goals for ourselves. Your position could involve new challenges as quickly as the customers present them. Our environment is business casual, and since we're a small company, you will fit here best if you can wear several hats simultaneously. If that means running the in-house print jobs while talking to a walk in customer, we'll expect you to find joy in the situation!
Do not apply if you are not available for full time work. This is NOT a seasonal position. Regular work hours are 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Provide friendly customer service to walk in and phone clients
Use our on-site resources to print jobs and copies in-house
Utilize pricing resources to provide quotes to clients
Create signs, banners, blue prints, booklets, posters and other items as requested by our clients
Send files to print, including PDFs, JPGs, Word files and more
Run a heat press in production-mode to produce screen printed apparel
Consistently maintain a high attention to detail
Communicate with our customers in a professional manner
Take ownership and pride of the work you'll be delivering
Accept criticism and direction well, and with positive action
Run in-house print jobs on our large printer
Assist with providing pricing of design, creative t-shirts, invitations, logos and print materials for customers as needed
Maintain general housekeeping of the full office
Communicate effectively by email and phone, frequently and without prompting, in a professional manner
Work well in an open-office environment with a small team
Requirements:
Professional but approachable appearance
Phone skills
Comfort with computers and different file types (Mac experience a plus)
Email skills (grammar, professionalism, etc)
Reliable schedule
Ability to work on your feet for a full work day
Ability to lift up to 30lb boxes
Attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits:
Primary hours will fall during our business hours of 8-5:00pm M-F
