Roads often traveled

Sunstate Media is a company that exists to provide marketing and advertising services to businesses that look to begin their new venture or want to go to the next level in their marketing. Over time and experiences we have learned what is best about us. What we can offer that the others can not. Most of what we convey to our clients is that it starts with the true understanding of your brand, your budget, your message and your target audience. Ultimately we find ourselves teaching and educating our clients on the above mentioned points of business importance. Sunstate Media, though we are newly formed in 2017 the structure, the staff and the experience dates back more than a decade. Current owner & CEO of Sunstate Media has in the past built and sustained a very large and lucrative marketing & adverting agency. Close to 10 years this agency built a client and book of business list that was so large the company had to look to combine or sell the business to a national firm for the benefit of it’s clients and the future of expanded internal growth. After the sale of the agency the owner went to work for the newly controlling firm on a two year contract to assure client retention, staff integration and new business acquisitions.

A personal Statement:

Once the contract was completed I moved to Central Florida. At first starting a new agency was the furthest thing from my mind. But like a lot of things in life, what you are best at and what makes you happy seems to be a road often traveled. This is a natural fit and natural way of being for me. After only being in my new location for less than 3 months I met many people, business owners through some networking groups. I was astonished at the lack of marketing and the lack of even trying to go to market with their businesses because of lack of knowledge. I did what I do best... I talked and taught. This of course endeared me rather quickly to these people and I to them. To sum it all up. I started doing some work for them to better their businesses and to arm them with the ability to do it themselves. I did this from withing their company or place of business. I literally went into their place of business and did the work their. This way the owner of the business or the staff or the in-house marketing person can work with me to optimize their marketing. This was great. I was learning so much faster about who they were as a company. Who their customers are and where they come from. Each time I did this I learned how to involve the whole office or company so that the business itself was empowered with the ability of self understanding, goals and objectives to reach and a real added team mentality with the staff.

So, it seems now that this is the road I choose to take once again. This time of course better armed with knowledge and learning new things, but also I understand more now than ever that it is important to give each of my clients the ability and knowledge to do a lot of it themselves in-house.
