Join us at noon today for our newest Newsmaker Forum. We'll address disability access in Lafayette. Scheduled to join Acadiana Press Club for the discussion include disability advocates Liam Doyle and Ray Green, who will discuss progress made in Lafayette and the challenges that remain ahead. The forum will start at noon at AOC Community Media, located in the Rosa Parks Transportation Center at 101 Jefferson St. in Lafayette.

The following guests will join us for our Newsmaker Forum Monday at noon, Daily Advertiser community room:

Dr. David Khey, UL Lafayette criminal justice department head; Tracie L. Washington, a New Orleans-based National Lawyers Guild attorney; Reginald Thomas, interim chief with the Lafayette Police Department; Marja Broussard, Lafayette NAACP leader and community organizer; and Maj. Art LeBreton, enforcement commander with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

In addition, a representative from Louisiana State Police has been invited to be a panelist.
