Hi, I’m Madeline! (More commonly known as Mattie or Mads.) 😊

I’m a financial advisor, wife, mama of two boys, Auburn alumna (War Eagle!), and proud Georgia girl, born and raised in small town, LaGrange. I’ve been working in this industry for almost 7 years now and truly feel so fortunate having the opportunity to help families create a solid foundation for their future.

My calling to this industry was inspired by my dad, who has poured his heart into this business for decades and shaped my desire to do the same.

We woke up at 5am and made our way to Lily Hill Farm just before sunrise. I met River & Siena for the first time as I waved them through the farm gates.

It was a perfect 66 degrees, summer teasing the arrival of fall for a few hours. It was still dark, the sun only minutes away from peeking over the horizon. The land seemed to hold its breath in anticipation. Drops of dew hugging every blade of grass started to sparkle as the sun spilled soft pink light over the hills. A veil of mist hovered above the pond as the cows waded into the water.

We walked down the dirt road, red Georgia clay perfectly complimenting the green field. We laughed about how it was a little wild to be waking up before dawn and spent the next 2 hours making some of the most romantic photos I’ve taken this year. I smiled behind my camera the entire time, photographing two young people absolutely in love.

Watching the sun rise over this amazing piece of land reminded me of why I love the south & made me fall a little bit more in love with Georgia.

The summer heat reached 93 by the afternoon, and that morning seemed like a fleeting dream. I’m not always eager to wake up before the sun, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat to capture this magic.

Thank you to River & Siena for going along with my crazy idea, rolling around in the tall grass, and trusting the process.
