Every year, Creative Vortex founder Bridget Soden Mills looks forward to the Dana Point Classic Car Show. 🚘✨ The people are fantastic, but there’s something especially inspiring about seeing these beautiful classics brought back to life.
Someone had to look past the rust, dents, worn-out paint and maybe even a rat-infested interior and see what the car could become. But restoration isn’t simply about making something shiny again. It takes vision, a plan, the right investment and countless intentional decisions to ensure every detail works toward the same end result.
In many ways, that’s what we do with brands at Creative Vortex. Sometimes a brand has good bones: a strong business, years of experience, loyal customers and plenty of value. But somewhere along the way, the brand stopped reflecting the organization it represents today.
That’s when you don’t start with a new logo, website or marketing campaign. You start with the vision.
Where are you going? What should your brand communicate? What deserves to stay? What needs to change? And where will your investment make the biggest difference?
That’s Strategy First.
Because whether you’re restoring a classic or reinvigorating a brand, the vision, energy and investment need to align before you start rebuilding. Great brands, great friends and great rides never go out of style. 🚘
