Mardi Gras in Southwest Louisiana looks like a melting pot of cultures and traditions, except it's actually a gumbo pot of rich ingredients that are greater together than they are individually. From the music, parades, food, chicken runs, galas, the Carinval experience here is like no other and represents the best parts of us down here.
