Among many watching America's newest journey around the moon is Tim Sanderson, brother of our VP, Pam Doucet. Tim worked for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, where he was the head model painter — crafting and painting miniature versions of spacecraft, and literally helping to shape how Americans would travel in space.
Tim's favorite work memories are seeing the space shuttle Columbia in person and gaining access to the mission control center at Marshall. He has lots of memorabilia from those years, too, and we appreciated him showing the items to us.
Look skyward, Tim!
He adds: "Now when you write this up, put in there that I'm single, too."
