I remember the first time I visited the World Trade Center. My first 22 years, those towers weren't just landmarks; they were a part of my skyline, my compass, my life. I remember purchasing a small souvenir from the gift shop on the very top floor—a little token from what was always "quite an experience." I never thought that souvenir would become a relic of a time before.
Being a native New Yorker, the memory of that day is more than history; it’s a traumatic echo that will never truly fade. We will never forget. But remembering must be matched with purpose.
Today, on the 25th anniversary, as we stand resilient, we must also continue to pray for the families still grappling with this profound loss, and for a world that seeks healing. 🤍🗽 I love New York, my hometown.
