Thanks to New York State (Department of Environmental Conservation, Department of Health, & Environmental Facilities Corporation) Warren County had more funds to distribute to Lake George shore property owners who need to replace their septic systems. The ARPA Committee has been meeting regularly for the last year and a half. Co-Chairs Claudia K. Braymer, Warren County Supervisor and Dennis Dickinson, members of the committee from the Board of Supervisors, and members of the public like Ray Agnew (Glens Falls Hospital), have worked many hours to review and score applications for ARPA funding to recommend to the full Board of Supervisors for approval. While a few applications did not receive final approval, a large group of applications was approved at yesterday’s board meeting.

As Co-Chair of the Warren County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Committee, I am pleased to announce the following awards were approved by the full Board of Supervisors:

Supervisor Bennet Driscoll and Claudia K. Braymer, Warren County Supervisor, both from Glens Falls, represented the County Board of Supervisors at today’s Veterans Day Ceremony held at The Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center. FWH honored over 9,000 veterans with flags in their Field of Flags. Chairman Kevin Geraghty and Supervisor Gene Merlino also attended the ceremony.
