We are thrilled to welcome Christy Davenport to the Intersect Media Team!
Christy is an Oregon native and marketing graduate from Southern Oregon University, her journey reflects her innovation and adaptability. Christy’s entrepreneurial spirit shone early on during college when she launched a highly successful home-based business. Navigating the complexities of marketing on a shoestring budget instilled in her an unparalleled creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, fostering a dual perspective—from both a salesperson's and a business owner's standpoint.
Post-graduation, her career trajectory soared at Lee Enterprises, where she spearheaded their efforts in digital editions for newspapers across the nation. What began as implementing digital editions swiftly evolved into a dynamic sales initiative. Christy's eight-year tenure at Lee Enterprises saw her traversing the country, and Canada helping to lead a team that engaged diverse advertisers, revolutionizing digital advertising for newspapers.
Transitioning to Townnews, a division of Lee, amplified her impact, as she drove digital initiatives that welcomed over 2,000 new online clients. In 2008, driven by personal and professional shifts, she founded Paladin Media Inc., an advertising and consulting agency guiding newspapers and magazines on optimizing and monetizing their digital editions.
Becoming a mother to her son, Finn, in 2012, prompted a shift to remote work while maintaining her commitment to sales and training for select clients.
Based on Christy’s extensive knowledge and experience in our media industry, we are excited to welcome her to our team as our newest IM Account Executive. She will be focused on driving new business in the state of Arizona, and on the West Coast for our media partners.
