Custom Threads & Sports, a long time local supplier of Lake Orion-branded apparel to school, athletic programs and the community, recently provided a grant to the Lake Orion High School DECA team of students interested in sales and marketing careers. According to Custom Threads' President Mark McCord, the donation was made in recognition of the successful partnership between his business and the school district to provide goods for the high school's student run store and Lake Orion's web based spirit wear outlet.

Mark McCord, standing with Clarkston Track Head Coaches, John Bennink and Kevin Breen. While working with the boys and girls track team, we were able to donate over $2,500 back to the program, which came from a portion of the apparel sales!

Friday, February 13th is the 2nd Annual Hoops for the Troops Game in honor of Jenna Beno. The girls varsity basketball team will host North Farmington at 7pm. Donations & raffle proceeds will be given to Operation Second Chance.

Operation Second Chance is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces and the many challenges they face.

Hoops for Troops is February 13 but T-shirts are available now!

Five dollars from every shirt sold will be sent to Operation Second Chance in honor of Jenna Beno, a Clarkston High School graduate who passed away from injuries sustained in Iraq.

Join the Lady Wolves on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. as they honor Beno and raise money for Operation Second Chance.
