The full case study for our work with Mike & Mike's Desserts™ is officially live on our site! Take a look at how we helped transform and elevate a company with an incredible product get past the barrier of 50 locations, to landing a deal with Publix Super Markets to launch in all 1,393 stores.

Systems people! It’s all about the systems!

Another thing we needed to address was expanding on the identity system. There are 3 unique memberships that sit under Catapult’s brand umbrella☂️
—Workspace•Makerspace•Kitchen—
Each of these memberships appeal to a different form of startup and offer its own unique benefits of space, equipment, mentorship, training, and more. Catapult had difficulty giving each of these spaces its own identifier, while still feeling connected to Catapult.

Sometimes less is more. We felt the best way to approach this was to create a simple wordmark that would pair nicely with the parent Catapult brand, while also being able to stand alone in its respective areas. To go a step further, we added a unique icon to represent each area for quick applications that were easily recognizable.
We expanded on their current icon set for social media and newsletters to match the style of the updated icons.

We had the pleasure of repositioning the brand (our current home base btw😉) to fit more in-line with its vision and make a stronger connection with its audience. There’s more that Catapult offers its members than you can shake a stick at; yet on the outside, it would often be confused with “just another co-working space.”

After establishing their main concerns, aligning their mission, vision, goals, and coordinating where the disconnect was; we began addressing their identity system. To start, we felt like the Primary logo had already been well established in the area and was well made; thanks to the brilliant for laying such a great foundation.

We did however realize, the color palette was mismatched between digital and print collateral—giving off some inconsistencies. The Catapult brand is all about giving startups the resources it needs to launch 🚀
Words that lined up with that feeling, like: Growth, Motivate, Inspire, Innovate, etc. were feelings we wanted to be translated through everything, including color. Creating this small shift and providing proper guidance in how to use them made all the difference.

Honored to bring some old work to new light for the big P.

During the 1980’s, Publix created these one-of-kind enamel pins for their employees, featuring an iconic acronym graphic. These were all originally illustrated by hand and had no digital footprint—that’s where we came in and brought these unique designs into the world of RGB, while maintaining that organic heritage feel.

Making something from scratch isn’t always the way to go. In the process of repositioning the brand, we thought the foundation had potential—just needed a lil creative nudge.
——
The mascot, “Little Mike” was an important face of the company that we wanted to pay homage to. We repurposed the old logo into a “School Friendly badge” to help customers know quickly this is a healthy option for kids. We also cleaned up Mike’s hat to stand out on its own while referring back to the origin of where they started.

has created an insanely unique recipe that not only tastes good, but is also safe for those with dietary restrictions. How they were able to make a cupcake with no dairy, no nuts, no eggs, and still taste like the real thing is some super freaky science magic we still can’t wrap our minds around.
——
We helped the Mike & Mike’s team reposition their brand, connect their target audience to their true self, and discover how to tell their story in an authentic way. We also gave their visual identity, packaging, and overall design a facelift; to feel more in-line with the quality they stand for—without losing the playfulness of who they are.

What does your company stand for? How are you different than your competitors that give the same promise? How are you showing up for your customers? How do you act when you think no one is watching?

Lissa has big dreams for her little boutique Pilates studio. We helped her lay the foundation for her brand and align that to her key audience. We also had a blast creating a new identity system that was more in-line with who Sculpted Swan is as a brand.
