The power of social media. Today in my city, a locally owned pizzeria posted the plea below. It was shared by the Chamber of Commerce and others to the tune of 1200+ shares. Within a few hours, customers showed up in droves. So much so, he ran out of food and had to CLOSE EARLY. Lesson 1 - social media must be a key part of your marketing plan. Lesson 2 - shop local!

I received a marketing email recently from a local organization. Sadly, the email was improperly formated, so I couldn't easily read it. Additionally, the content was totally irrelevant to me as a subscriber. I'm guessing, I'm not the only one who trashed this email.

Little things like proper formatting and list segmentation are very important in email marketing.

We are looking to hire someone to join our team in a work from home position as a Marketing Specialist. This is a very part-time position but could quickly grow into more hours.
