Be on the lookout... One of my favorite photo clients, Ali Corbin, will be starring in a new series "The Baxters." Based on the bestselling novels by Karen Kingsbury, the faith-infused family drama series stars Roma Downey and Ted McGinley.
Starting March 28th on Amazon Prime, the 10-episode first season "revolves around their daughter Kari (Ali Cobrin), who discovers her professor husband Tim (Brandon Hirsch) is having an affair with one of his students. Kari must find comfort in her family and faith to discover if love is a choice or if her marriage can be redeemed."

My beloved colleague and friend, Ignacio Bello, passed away Monday. He was a great example of academic excellence, human empathy, and dedication to all that's right. It was a pleasure to work with him, eat lunch with him, and share his joys in life.

Bello gave me my biggest break as a photographer for recommending me to the Broadway Theatre Project where I was their staff photographer for five years. I was also honored to provide several illustrative photographs in many of his amazing textbooks in mathematics.

He was a rare man in a rare world with a rare gift for excellence, wisdom and humanity.

The photo is from his and Maida's 50th anniversary celebration at the Columbia.
