Educational stability is often central to permanency outcomes. Are we fully leveraging our roles to support students in foster care?
This virtual CLE examines how GALs, agency attorneys, and parent attorneys can more effectively advocate for the educational needs of children in care. Grounded in Lancaster County’s Education Barriers to Permanency Project, the program highlights practical strategies that strengthen family engagement and improve outcomes in and beyond the courtroom, featuring Emily Peeler and Carolyn Lipp of the American Bar Association Legal Center for Foster Care and Education.
