Attending events like DrupalCon helps us stay on top of the latest Drupal developments, learn from industry leaders, and connect with the amazing global community that makes open-source possible. We can’t wait to bring what we learned back to our projects and clients!

There is a famous scene in Ghostbusters where Bill Murray zaps students for giving the wrong answer. Some days, design feels a little like that. People may not always articulate what they want, but you are still expected to get it right.

Trust is built by treating the people you work with as collaborators, not obstacles. Invite them into the process. Ask thoughtful questions, not only about what they want on the screen but also about their business, their audience, and their goals. When people feel heard, they feel invested.

And authenticity matters. Being sincere, being honest, and even pushing back when it is needed creates a stronger relationship than nodding along ever could.
Design is not only about pixels. It is about people, and the trust that makes great work possible.

Spend the day in Old Town and support local artists while indulging in a variety of food truck options that will leave everyone feeling satisfied. We hope to see you there!

You may know Michael J. McFall as the co-CEO and co-founder of Biggby Coffee —but his work goes far beyond the coffee world. Mike is also an author, speaker, and entrepreneur who’s passionate about leadership, business, and building meaningful ventures.

Gravity Works partnered with Mike to build MichaelJMcFall.com, a personal site that brings all his work together in one dynamic space. The new site features bold visuals, dedicated landing pages for his books, links to speaking and course inquiries, and a newsfeed that auto-updates with his latest media mentions.

Getting around Southeast Michigan just got a little easier!

The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) works to coordinate public transit across the region, connecting people to jobs, healthcare, education, and more.

We partnered with RTA to redesign RTAMichigan.org — giving them a fresh, modern site that better promotes the range of services they offer. From rider info and partner services to planning initiatives and public meetings, the new site makes it easier for the public to engage with RTA and learn how they’re shaping transit in the region.

🚀 We’re proud to share the launch of the new WashingtonLawHelp.org, built in partnership with Northwest Justice Project! The redesigned site is faster, more accessible, and packed with features to help people find and use legal information—like smart search, audio content, multi-language support, and guided form tools.

From a powerful Drupal and Next.js build to content workflows, HotDocs and Speechify integrations, and a focus on WCAG 2.1 AAA accessibility, this project brings together thoughtful design and cutting-edge tech to support access to justice in Washington.

New website launch spotlight! 🚀🎉
We teamed up with LSNTAP, a national leader in legal tech training, to redesign their website for a more modern, accessible, and user-friendly experience. With a diverse user base of legal aid professionals across the country, LSNTAP needed a platform that made it easy to find and manage toolkits, webinars, and resources.

We developed a new site architecture that prioritized usability, helping users quickly access the materials they need — while giving LSNTAP staff better tools to manage content behind the scenes.

Legal aid organizations like LSNTAP are close to our hearts at Gravity Works. Helping good people accomplish great things is what drives us, and we’re proud to support their mission with technology that works.
