Not to ruffle any feathers but…⤵️

There isn’t any rule that says you HAVE to do reels for your business to be successful.

Here’s the thing…

Everyone has a different audience. Everyone has a different way they connect with people. So saying that in order for your small business to be successful you have to do reels is crazy!

I will say that you should try to do them and see if they work for you before you say “nope, not happening”. There are sooooooo many different types of reels that you can make. It might just be a matter of finding what works for you.

But don’t feel like they are the end all be all.

I've always been sure about THIS!!

Starting my own business has been a little tricky with a few bumps along the way. Especially this past year trying to run it while selling, building, and moving into a brand-new house.

But one thing I've always been sure about is that I love helping my clients get organized with their content and really understand who they are as a business.

And here's why...

When I first started working with a client they were all over the place with their content. It just seemed as though they posted whenever they could without any strategy or consistency behind it. Over time we have created a plan that lets people know what the business is, what their business goals are, and who they are as people. Creating connections with their clients along the way.

I knew from the beginning that creating connections with clients/ customers is one of the first things that social media should do for a business. And being consistent with your message and posting is what will really get people to remember you.

So today I want to challenge YOU to brag about yourself!

Have you ever wondered what it's like to work with me?

Well lucky for you, I'm spilling the tea and giving you an inside look!

Here's what goes down from start to finish:

1️⃣ Discovery call and get-to-know-you questions

The first thing we do is a discovery call to make sure we are a good fit. If we are, I send you a questionnaire to answer so I am able to get all of the information I need from you to create your best content!

2️⃣ Content Calendar, Caption Writing, and Photo Sourcing

After I have all the information I need, I start creating your content calendar which gets sent to you for your approval. I also start writing captions and making sure you are getting me all of the photos that I will need for those captions.

3️⃣ Client Approval and Scheduling of the next week's posts

Once I have a week. of content written and ready I send it to you for approval. On Sundays of each week, I sit down and schedule all client content so it is ready to go!

This is the key to a great content strategy...

Know WHO you are talking to! Identify your ideal client and talk to them!

Then choose 3-4 topics to focus on and talk about throughout your posts.

Here's how it's done...Say you are a realtor

IDEAL CLIENTS
First-time home buyers 🏠

3-4 TOPICS
➡️ The home-buying process

➡️ How you can help them find their perfect home

➡️ Tips for working with lenders, looking at homes, etc

➡️ How the market is in your area, highlight different neighborhoods in your area, etc.

Simple as that!

The ONE thing you should do for your business if you only have 5️⃣ minutes

ENGAGEMENT!!!

The purpose of social media is to be social. Even if you don’t have a ton of time in your day to create content, spend just 5 minutes engaging with others so you can connect with those you follow and those who follow you.

People need connection. Especially in today’s world. So answering a DM from someone helps create that connection between you.

So, even if you are strapped for time. I know most of us will be heading into the holidays. Take those few minutes while you are waiting in line shopping or at school pick up to like and comment on someone else’s posts.

Whether I need to keep up with client stuff, my own stuff or I’m just waiting at school pick up.

I HATE wasting time so having something to do while I wait is always needed. And being able to work from anywhere is always a plus. Especially if I need a change of scenery!

I cannot believe that it is ALREADY November!!!

Yesterday we went Trick-or-Treating and had such a fun time. My knight in shining armor got more candy than he can eat! (So we will definitely be sharing 🤫)

Now that Halloween is over, we are “officially” into the holiday season! 🦃 🎄This means I am getting things situated in my business so I am able to enjoy all of the festivities.

And my clients are able to enjoy their holidays knowing that everything is taken care of with their content and posting!
