GREAT NEWS ... everything is working out.
Today I was able to successfully move many of my apps over to my Android phone, which felt like a huge win. Sometimes it's the little victories that remind you to keep going.
I also made it to the gym and stayed true to my routine. I only used the hydro massage equipment because I'm still being careful with my body as I continue to heal. I even got in a little walk this morning. I decided not to use my crutches, so it was definitely painful, but I was grateful to be able to take those steps.
One moment at the gym brought tears to my eyes.
A young man walked over and offered me two Gatorades on the house. Such a simple act of kindness, but in moments like these, you realize how much compassion still exists in this world.
Hard times don't define who a person is.
THEY REVEAL IT.
Many people believe that going through difficult seasons should make you angry, bitter, or resentful toward the world. I've never seen it that way.
When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I had already watched enough documentaries and biographies to know that building something meaningful would be difficult. I never expected the journey to be easy.
But I can honestly say I pray I never experience business challenges quite like this again.
Being struck by a car and then believing that your mobile device was taken afterward is heartbreaking. Yet I've learned something over the years: people do what they do for reasons that belong to them. I may never understand those reasons, and perhaps I'm not meant to.
What I do know is this...
I must continue with the plan.
I must continue with the mission.
I must continue walking in my purpose.
I refuse to allow bitterness to find a home in my heart.
Life will test us all. The question isn't whether we'll face hard times.
The question is: What will those hard times reveal about us?
As for me, I pray they continue to reveal faith, perseverance, gratitude, and love.
