Güd News Alert: A BIG congratulations to our client, the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, and the full Chicago Regional Recycling Education and Outreach Partners team! Feed the Cart has received the National Recycling Coalition’s 2026 Beth Brown Boettner Award for Outstanding Public Education/Outreach Program. ♻️🏆

This first-of-its-kind regional campaign brings 275 municipalities across seven counties together under one clear, consistent approach to helping residents recycle better.

Güd is proud to have partnered with the Caucus to create the Feed the Cart campaign and bring Loop, the friendly, googly-eyed recycling cart, to life. It’s exciting to see a campaign designed to make recycling education engaging, memorable and accessible earn recognition on a national stage.

Güd News: National recognition for work that supports Michigan caregivers. 📰❤️

Congratulations to our partners at the Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan (4AMI) on receiving a 2026 USAging Aging Innovations Award for MiCaregiverConnection.com — Michigan’s first unified online resource created specifically for family and informal caregivers.

Since launching in November, the site has connected more than 76,000 users with trusted information, local services and support.

We’re proud to have partnered with 4AMI to bring this important resource to life and thrilled to see the organization’s vision, collaboration and commitment recognized on a national stage. This award is a meaningful reminder of what is possible when thoughtful strategy, accessible information and community-centered design come together.

Sometimes the best way to inspire change is to make people smile first. 🦝💙

At this year’s Belle Isle Art Fair, the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy and Frank the Raccoon brought recycling education to life through laughs, conversations and a little puppet-powered mischief.

Families stopped by to meet Frank, ask questions and learn how small recycling actions can make a big difference. Creating fun, memorable experiences like this is one of our favorite ways to help important messages connect with people.

Congratulations to the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential and the entire Michigan Reconnect team on another inspiring Virtual Commencement honoring the Class of 2026.

Nearly 20,000 Michiganders have graduated through Michigan Reconnect, proving that it's never too late to pursue new goals, earn a credential and create new opportunities.

We're proud to have partnered with the MiLEAP team in helping make this special event happen. Seeing graduates, families, educators and partners come together to celebrate these achievements is a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

Last Friday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer and MiLEAP celebrated this year’s Reconnect graduates during our third annual virtual commencement, marking five years of helping adult learners return to college, earn credentials and build new opportunities.

Nearly 20,000 Michiganders have graduated through Reconnect. Their stories highlight parents, first‑generation students, veterans, career changers and adults who returned to school after years away.

Graduate Maurice Lucas described how Reconnect helped him find purpose and a new path forward, offering a powerful reminder that accessible education changes lives.

Reconnect Navigators have supported more than 250,000 Michiganders with free, one‑on‑one guidance throughout their education journey.

To our partners and colleges: thank you for supporting Michigan learners.
